What's the goal then?

Well, I obviously want to lose weight but I mainly want to feel fit and healthy. I loved going to the weight loss class but I need more freedom now I've got Noah. I'm going to give Weight Watchers online a go, and to begin with I will go swimming or to the gym/class three times a week at a time more appropriate for me an my little family. The Weight Watchers online programme sounds good. I've paid £29.95 for three months. If it works, I'll renew my membership then. I'm starting on Simple Start... Will start in earnest tomorrow as it's a new term at work!

I get 39 points a day (this is determined by your current weight etc). You also get extra points a week for treats etc, so maybe I can have the odd vodka or bar of chocolate. The iPad/iPhone apps are really user friendly and easy to use. I'll use these in conjunction with the My Fitness App, as I like to count calories too, but that's just personal preference.

Yesterday I went over my points allowance but not too concerned. Not starting properly until tomorrow, and I had a brilliant, perfect and amazing day out having very impressive and delicious food at The Gilded Lily (Carlisle) and some lush cocktails at Unit. I'm reluctant to totally give up my social life completely so will allow the occasional splurge day with my loved ones... Just not every week! This alongside my exercise should do the trick. I'm aiming for a 2lb a week loss on average. My first goal is to lose 7lb, and I'll buy myself a new MAC lippy when I do so!

I'll post he occasional blog during the week, but my main entry will be on Weigh Day, which for me is a Thursday! Thanks for reading,

Ali xxx
