Seriously? SERIOUSLY?

Make up at the gym? What on Earth is that all about?

I ventured to the gym on my own for the first time in years, already anxious about going, to find every woman in there in skimpy clothes, with their hair done in that messy-yet-effortlessly-cool way, and a face full of make up. It was most off-putting! In my own naive way, I thought that only happened on TV, or in Hollywood. Do these women not sweat?! I came to the conclusion that they are simply robots, put in place at the gym to shame and mortifying us "normal" women into working even harder, pushing the boundaries for the sake of fitness...

Bravo, Carlisle Leisure, as this worked! My legs are still shaking, and I don't think that I'll stop sweating anytime soon. I hope this is reflected on Weigh Day. If these girls are real, and they can look THAT good at the gym, then "shame on you" for blatantly trying to show superiority at on a mortifying level. I'm not exaggerating with how hard I worked. Here's the after photos from when I got in my car:

Sweaty and messy, but proud of myself- 3 miles on the bike and 3km on the cross-trainer.

Nando's helped me to make tea tonight (along with Andy's marinading set). We had mini chicken fillets in the medium sauce, with boiled potatoes and a huge salad - or beans for the hubby. For 7 points it was so good. I'm really getting the hang of my portion sizes. I'm never left hungry, nor do I have that uncomfortably full feeling I used to get when I ate like a 20 stone man.

"Real" chocolate hasn't passed my lips for ages, and I feel if I don't treat myself that I'll resent my new lifestyle. That being said, I am going to enjoy a bag of Maltesers before I go to bed. I cannot wait for this treat! Bliss!

Thanks for reading and thanks for supporting me!
